Loose seatback....?
hi,
got a 92 w/ power driver seat (obviously).... the seatback has started to become 'loose', meaning one can push from behind and it moves forward maybe 1/2 in. sometimes noticable when stopping quickly-- the seatback moves forward a bit, then back to its place....
any known fixes? is something loose, or is a part wearing? same thing happening on our 97 land cruiser, which has very very similar seats.

hmmm... that's not really true. for instance, the pass. seat doesn't move when it's pushed. it does move sometimes when one breaks harder than usual. it's clearly become loose, and more loose than the pass. side. i'll check out the other thread. thanks.

hi,
i mean with maybe 5 lbs of pressure on the back, the back moves forward then stops as if it hit the limit of its travel. like a bolt is coming loose. again, the other seat doesn't do it...
