Question '92 400 -- Key's battery dead

My remote key has not worked since I bought my car awhile back. Presuming it is the batter, can I simply change the battery, or will it also need reprogramming of some type?

All you need to do is replace the battery.

thnx brian for all of your great answers and knowledge.. even if its changing a battery.. brian knows the answers.
