Oil Filter from Dealer - New Product?
Just visited my local Lexus dealer for an oil filter for my LS400. The price was around $8.75 (without tax), which impressed me since I thought price was quite higher last time I visited this dealer. While I was walking back to my car, I wondered if mistake was made and that the filter was wrong. Sat in the car and read the receipt, which had some notation that suggested replacement part. Can't remember the exact wording, but I interpreted to mean that the old OEM filter has now been replaced. I remember something on the forum regarding filters and that one member bought "the last case" from Steve at Carson.
Any opinions or confirmations of this new filter?
