Whats the best way to remove my "Alternator".. I have a 91LS400?
Whats the best way to remove my "Alternator".. I have a 91LS400? Is it alot of work involved?

yep underneath is how its done.. you might need someone to help you or else the alternator will drop on u.. its a pain to change out, at least it was for my dad and i

we and my dad sort of looked for it.. there are a couple bolts that hold it up there and theres teh belt to undo and thats about it.. if i remember correctly

Lexus Test Driver
1) Put the car up on ramps...or on a lift of you have one
2) Disconnect the negative cable on the battery
3) Remove the drive belt
----working under the car now
4) Remove the engine under cover...11 10mm bolts hold it on
5) Disconnect the terminal wire on the alternator
6) Undo the two bolts that hold the alternator on
That should be it, although it may take a while. Good luck .
