Question good price IYO?

winter car, 1990 ls400, black/grey interior, interior isn't that bad, ear bumper has a slight paint fade, body looks really straight, 200k miles or so, something for a weekly driver, asking 4900, but i am going to offer less, any suggestions?

I would suggest that you look for a '93+ instead of purchasing the '90, but if you do plan on getting the '90 you should definitely offer less.

I would offer $4500-4700 depending on how the engine runs, how well it was maintained/accident records, and the number of owners it's been through. I believe most of the 1st gen owners on here would agree that the +93 models are the least problematic and include better features than pre-'93 models...better brakes, painted lower moldings to match the lower half of the body (gives an overall better look IMO), etc. I'm sure some of the 1st gen owners on this forum will give their opinions/advice in helping you make your decision. BTW, how much is the '93 SC300 being offered for? I would definitely consider getting that over a '90 LS if I were you...but that's because you already have a GS400...why not have something different like a coupe instead of 2 sedans?
