Rear reclining seats - How to disable auto return when door opens
Hi all,
I have test driven a few 460Ls that have the rear reclining seats. I understand that when you open the rear door the seat returns to the upright position and that you can cancel this effect but pressing the 'C' button. Today, I test drove another 2007 460L and the rear seats stayed reclined even after I opened the door. I like that it didin't return to the normal seat position and lessens wear and tear on the motor. Is this a customization setting in the car to keep the rear seat reclined, even when the door opens? Or is something broken in the 460L I test drove today? It would bug my wife if she had to keep hititng "cancel" every time she opens the rear door. Thank you to those with more experience with this feature.

Once you press the 'C' button, the green light will remain on. This will leave the seat in the reclined position regardless of the door opening. The 'C' light should remain on the next time you start the car. There is no need to press it every time. If the light is on and the seat still reclines, it is not working properly.
