I Put new rubber on the LS and got my TPMS warning stuck on the dash wont re set no matter how may times I do the procedure .. any way to turn this off? I don't really care too much about the tpms system .. if I get a flat I get one and not much I can do about it .. I figure battery is dead on a sensor or may need a new one but to be able to turn this off would be a better solve for me ?..

It can't be turn off and it's probably one of the sensors.

The Tire Pressure Monitoring System is a safety system that was mandated by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for all new cars sold in the US beginning in 2008. There is no reasonable way to disable it and it is in your best interest and the best interest of others you share the road with for your TPMS to be functional and properly maintained.

One possibility is the battery is not dead, but that the installer damaged a sensor, or sensors, when mounting the new tires. It seems too coincidental that this happened just as you mounted new tires.

I think "roadfrog" and "Nospinzone" are giving you some good advice.

You may be able to resolve this yourself and maybe at no expense.

Generally speaking most TPMS problems can be sorted into two categories: (A) one or more non-reporting sensors or (B) one or more sensors reporting low pressure.

The "non-reporting" problem is characterized by "Checking" in one or more of the sensor display position on the dash, that last over 30 minutes before the TPMS goes into the Alarm state.

The "low pressure" problem puts the TPMS into an alarm state within about one minute of turning the ignition on.

I had same problem with mine.
Go to dealer to buy one TPMS sensor first and then take it to Discount tire, they will replace for you with $20 fees.
Do not use Discount tire sensors, they will not work only dealer sensors work. They tried to replace one of my sensors but when they reprogram and it kept saying one ID does not match.

That's not quite correct. I installed an aftermarket set on my car and they've been working great for nearly 3 years. I installed them on my set of winter tires. I paid about 250 bucks and the tire shop programmed them and installed them for me. There are also kits available on the internet which allow you to do the programming yourself. Several members here have done this.

If you replace all the sensors with same brand then will have no problem reprogram them.
In my case maybe they could not because only one replaced and the ID doesn't match with the factory ones.
