Parking strategy
#76
Park next to the oldest but nice condition cars I can find. If someone keeps a 1991 Caravan ding and rust free, they're probably careful about door dings. Plus, I don't like singling my car out from a crowd by parking away from things. Carts can gain a lot of speed with all that space.
Flawed logic? Maybe. History of dings and dents inflicted while I'm publicly parked... pretty good.

I'd rather drive my LS when I drive.
I don't really understand the idea of a "beater", I bought the LS to drive and enjoy.

If you don't drive your nicer car, it's per mile cost goes up significantly compared to the other cars in the house. To maximize return on investment, drive best car in the house as much as you can.
