Very few people install mud guards on the LS. It would be an even rarer person who lowers their car and installs (or removes) mud guards.

Do you have an LS with mud guards? Can you please post pics? I am planning to install them on my car very soon.

Oh, so the OP isn't talking about the wheel mud guards? LOL. Is he referring to the tiny flaps sticking out ahead of the wheel wells? I would leave them alone. If you are riding so low that you are rubbing them, then other parts of the underbody could also rub.

Many of the lowered set ups have the tires "buried" behind the fender panels. So, it seems like you would have to remove the fender liners or there would be severe rubbing if the car moves at all. Unless folks modify the fender liners to fit deeper inside the wheel wells.

I think the fender liners are keeping water and dirt away from cables and ducts under the bodywork, so I would hesitate to remove them entirely.

OK, so in a set up like this and many similar ones on CL, don't the fender liners inside the wheel wells have to be removed or somehow modified to avoid rubbing?

I wouldn't think it would drive down the road that low. I think that stance is for the parking lot. It gets raised before driving down the road. That's what I *think* not what I know. Some of the smart guys can chime in.
