Am looking for a LS460L 2010-2012 AWD and came across this 2012 with price under $30k.Car fax looks ok but when checked the secure.lexus.com service history it showed the following recent repairs that raise some concerns-

these all occured between 65Kmls and 67540kmls and repairs took place between Oct.2015 and Jan.15 2016.
i am wrestling with 2 thoughts-
"car has serious recurring issues and previous driver either hit something hard to bend the sub-frame or just drove it hard"

"alot of new parts and repairs recently, some major new parts plus the upper control arms have been replaced plus the fr/r brake actuators were done"(this is stated on an earlier repair I didnt list).

Sorry lots to absorb-
reaction?suggestions?advice?risky purchase or great buy?

Don't walk away ......

RUN. Once a car has issues, it will always have issues.

To many issues and you should avoid this one. You don't need the headaches.

If you really like the car, offer 50%-60% of the asking price, and don't budge any higher.

Otherwise, walk away... quickly.

I would not spend over 10K on this one. Look for another one. You'll be glad you did.

Well said - I think of cars like humans...some live harder lives than others. If you go through life without the proper maintenance....you smoke, you drink too much, you eat poorly...you might not last. And if the only driving you do is walk into to the copier at work...you've got a lot of city driving on yourself.

Change your fluids, try to do easy highway miles, avoid the accidents, keep it clean and park it in the garage at night. Hopefully it will last longer, at least the genetics are on your side with the 460.
