Default New battery weak?

I had the battery replaced a few month ago from autozone under their warranty . Car was parked for 2 or 3 weeks and I couldn't start it yesterday. Jumped it with another car and all was well from them all.
I'm taking the car to a dealer to have the headlight and rear trunk button changed today.
I don't think it's normal. On the other hand, car barely gets driven. I'd say I drive it maybe 4 times this year. 100 mile at best. I used to start it up for 15 minute intervals during winter months.

Autozone batteries are absolute junk in my opinion. I had one fail a few months after I purchased it and it was the most expensive one they offered. Trying to get a warranty replacement with their "GUARANTEE" was another joke and I ended up just walking away and junking the battery at a complete loss as I didn't want to put in another Autozone battery in to begin with.

I went back to OEM in my previous car and it never faltered versus that Autozone POS that had a bad cell.

Sorry, but I must disagree. I have had AutoZone batteries in all my Lexus cars. I never buy the top of the line one. No need. They have lasted at least 4 years or longer with the exception of one time. They gave me a new battery no questions asked. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

You probably wouldn't have this problem if you take the time to start and drive it once a week for 15-30 minutes. Leaving a vehicle parked for weeks in NY during the winter time must be hard on any battery, especially if it not driven often. You might consider buying a battery maintainer.

Bang on. This isn't about the questionable reliability of an Autozone battery, but rather, an electronics laden vehicle that isn't being driven enough to keep the system charged.....REGARDLESS of what battery is in there.

It's not a bad battery, but it's because you're not driving the car long enough for the battery to fully charged.
Batteries usually sit on shelves for months and lose their charge. First thing you need to do is have the battery fully charged by hooking it to a battery charger/maintainer.

Look to get one of these if you don't already have one.
