Maybe not? Matador red is rare but a clean black 460 will always stand out and turn heads.

indeed very very very rare. I can count the number of them ive seen here at the dealership on one hand and still have a few fingers left. also, typical LS460 buyers are not looking for a sporty red one. we had a new one for sale here and it sat for almost 6 months before someone finally got it. Matador Red F-Sport, black interior with red stitching, very very cool looking car. a few months back the owner of it came in for its 5k checkup and wanted me to show them some of the bells and whistles. well we spent about an hour chatting about the car and how unique and cool it looked, and the main reason the older woman, yes believe it or not a woman in her 70s bought it, was because she wanted something different and unique that nobody else had at the country club. well she was right! it really stands out and she said everywhere she goes with it, it turns heads and people ask about it. neat cars those are.

Wow! Well since she's in Florida I don't have to worry about her pulling up next to me at the stoplight!

Just pray you never need paintwork done at any point. Reds are so difficult to match.

I will, but apparently Matador Red Mica has been around for a while on both Toyota and Lexus vehicles.

yep.. kind of like Cyprus Pearl, which they only had for one year on the Ls430, or Truffle mica, only used in 2004 on the ES IIRC

They used truffle mica longer than that. My 2010 ES was truffle mica.
