Congrats and welcome! Very nice car you have there. I could sure use some of that Hawaii mystical weather right about now.
Took this the other day, thankfully the 460 is so incredibly well insulated.

Yup...you guys are very fortunate indeed! 2 yrs ago when I was a med student starting my rotations in Jan in Chicago, with windchill it was around -40 deg F (yes negative). Nearly died of hypothermia, I need to look for a job in a place where palm trees are present year round

As I lay here with my electric blanket cranked up I must say thank god for seat heaters and my heated steering wheel. ls460 is a warm cozy place for me. It finally warmed up to 50 today which is nice when the sun shines. I've been to Kauai and swam in Kipu Falls before they closed the access down. Hawaii is beautiful I would love to get back there someday.

It helps that you are in HI in the Navy. Given that yearly registration costs are based on the weight class of your car/truck. I am guessing you are not a resident of HI and should be able to avoid the stiff registration fees. Are you a Mud Suiter stationed at Pearl Harbor? How long have you been stationed in in HI. This is the first year since 2000 that we did not keep our 42 Foot Sail Boat at Rainbow Marina. The only good road for the LS will be the H2 going out to the North Shore or maybe H3 going over to KBay. Enjoy your new ride they are very sweat. Our oldest Son has lived on island since 1986.
