Buying an LS460 from VROOM.com?
I recently discovered the Internet Auto Sales company VROOM.com. After reading all about their business model and reading lots of reviews, I have to admit I'm somewhat intrigued, and I wanted to see if anyone on the forum has ever dealt with VROOM.com on a car purchase?
Their biggest claim to fame (it seems) is that they will ship their cars anywhere in the Nation for free, and they have a 7-day no-questions-asked return policy (with no shipping charges to return a car to them if you change your mind/don't like it). Their prices for Lexus LS460s are actually pretty nice, from what I'm seeing (they have 11 available right now). They focus on late-model cars still under original warranty, with clean Car Fax's.
For example, here's a very nicely equipped 2013 LS460 with 32K miles being offered for $42.9K (roughly $4k below market price, per Edmunds): https://www.vroom.com/cars_and_truck...s%20460/170897
I'm not really in the market for a new LS at the moment (still loving my 2008 LS600hL), but I do like watching the prices and looking for bargains, and this company seems to be pretty legit. I know lots of our forum members search nationwide for a nice LS, and this may be one more option for those who worry about having a car shipped in sight-unseen. The 7-day return policy would give you a chance to do an extended test drive, take the car for a thorough inspection, etc.
Thoughts? Thanks!

Vroom has had good reviews, I know of 2 people who have bought cars from there before. Their warranty is pretty much bumper-to-bumper, they've expedited the ease of purchasing a vehicle and they are also a good alternative to Carmax for those of us who wants to sell a car as their values (from my experience) have been consistently more than what someone like Carmax would offer. Go for it.
