Fixed my wind noise
Picked up an 08' 460 two months ago. Did not notice wind noise during test drive but soon after it was loud. Searched here and found several causes. My cause looked like the window gaskets as they were folded in around certain portions of the window. I called Lexus corporate and they offered me a $500 service credit towards any repair or service. I was planning on using this to have the gaskets replaced ($350 cost) but we were heading out on a long road trip and I did not want to listen to wind noise the whole way there so I decided to try to get the gaskets to lay flat against the edge of the window.
I rolled the window up fully and took a think piece of stainless steel (credit card sized) and softly worked the gasket back into it's original position around the window. I did this to see if this was in fact the real issue. Took the car for a drive and... no noise. None! This was my problem.
To fix long term I did the following. Rolled down the window and took a heat gun and heated up the gasket. Once it was hot I sprayed some (Boeshield T-9) on a rag and worked it into the rubber gasket. Once it dried I rolled up the glass it was 75% better but still not seated right. Repeated the process of pushing the gasket back with the stainless "Card" then heated with the heat gun. Rolled down the window and repeated the process above.
I repeated the whole process one more time and it's fixed!!!
I rolled down the window tonight at the bank and after getting back on the highway I remembered the noise issue. But now it's gone!

Good to hear that you fixed it. To keep it from happening again and to keep your window molding in the best shape apply 3m Silicone to the window runners. Check out this thread. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...t-windows.html A couple of us had the same exact problem as you with the molding folding under the window and causing wind noise. We used 3m Silicone along the vertical runners of the window gasket and it fixed the problem 100%.

looks like i'm having similar trouble, and for whatever reason, my right window squeaks real bad when going up or down as though it may have seals pressing real hard up against it. . .?

The seal is dried out, mine stated out like that on the drivers side. Use the silicone to rejuvenate all of the seals and you will be set.

my driver window squeaks real bad also, but window gaskets looks normal.
is my seal drying up also or the squeak is from my tint? there were no squeaks few months ago after the window tint.
