We had a Benz GL truck with air suspension. Had to replace all. Same with few people who work for me with Range Rovers.

I imagine the Lexus ones are better, but I don't know.

I must have a L, I didn't realize the RWD 460L doesn't have air suspension. I guess that's good for me. But I really am aching for a LS600

You have my dream DD garage. LS and LX. I am ungodly in love with the LX

I guess I was confused by the OP

LS 460 L AWD = Air Suspension
LS 460 Sport = Air Suspsension

Would you say that the AS failed with TIME or TYPE OF DRIVING CONDITIONS. The reason i ask is the car i''ve tested and will probably buy has 85K, but the 2 rear AS were replaced at 25k miles under warranty ???

Parts can fail at any time. I have a friend who bought a new KIA Turbo Optima and the engine needs replacing after 3k miles...shocks and struts can fail..maybe a large pothole. .who knows. Because it eas replaced doesn't automatically indicate consistent failure or potential future failure

Starting in 2011 the AS was an option on the AWD models and not standard. I have a 2011 AWD model and don't have, nor did I want the AS. To each his own. I have a friend that has a 2008 RWD L and he's had several issues with a couple of his corners with the AS. Others have had little to no issues.
