You don't buy a 600 for trunk space, however for what it's worth you can easily fit two sets of golf clubs with carts in there. If cargo is an issue, then even M-B & BMW are not that much better in that department. Unless you've owned one, you really shouldn't comment as there are a lot more reasons to owning one than just narrowing it down to its cargo capabilities.
I just traded mine in after two great years of "driving". The car will amaze you in many ways.
$71K is a good price; what year is it?

Are you having trouble comping the car on ebaymotors, autotrader, ect... or are you just lazy and feel the need to ask us to do it for you?
How exactly do you expect us to evaluate a car if you fail to tell us what year it is, where it is located and don't give us any pictures of the car?

I don't have a 600L and never drove one but the specs on this car puzzle me. It weighs 5200 lbs, 1000 more than the ls460 and about 500 more than the ls460L awd. That's gotta affect agility and handling. 0-60 in 5.5 is good, but only .4 sec faster than the ls460L AWD (according to the lexus web site), and slower than the ls460L - so what. What do you need AWD for on this car anyway (maybe snow)? 21MPG is good for a 438hp car but not that good for a hybrid. I would expect more. Also the cost looks to be about $25k higher for what seems to be a somewhat equivalent car (except for weight) to the ls460 AWD.

compare the gas mileage of 600hl and 460l and you will see 600hl is better. and if you compare the 600hl to other v12 from competitions, huge difference (say the 760il)
0-60 is a small way to compare "speed", but on cars like this, 0-60 is not the best representation. 60-120 is often time better comparison and on that, the 600hl with the tq from the electric motor will walk on 460l any way, and also doing that with little effort maintaining smoothness and quietness.
on small displacement cars, 0-60 is a big deal. but on large displacement cars, high speed pickup comes into play

Your Lexus dealer is waiting for you...
Throwing numbers up doesn't mean squat. The proof is in the pudding, get out there and try one...
The 600's best numbers as rominl implied are the 30-70 variety, the kind of numbers that affect us every time we merge into highway traffic, and the 600 packs a punch when it does so - in fact it puts a comforting smile on your face when you see traffic disappear in the rearview mirror. How many times have we merged into fast moving traffic and invariably have some idiot speed up to try and cut us off? The 600 trumps that type of driver without hesitation.

I own a 2008 600HL Executive and would not trade it for the world. It is the quitest, smoothest, and when speed is needed it jumps and sustains effortlessly. I've taken several long trips (24 MPG @77 mph) and live in the DC Metro area (19.5 mph) and the pot holes feel more like a tiny bump when riding in comfort mode . In sport suspension mode it handles like a corvette and the roomy interior makes up for the lack of trunk space. I've test drove the top of line BMW, Cadilac etc. There's no comparison. Test drive it and you'll buy it. I've seen less than 71k, but not often. Good luck.
