I'm thinking of hardwiring my V1 using a mirrortap and blendmount.
I also plan on doing a muffler delete. At the very least the very rear mufflers if not the resonators as well. Any comparison points?
And my bad, I thought you added the forged F-Sport wheels, I do like that design and it does look nice on your car with the Sport Package!

Okay, so no to resonator removal.

What else can be gutted or tossed without causing a nasty drone? I want loud, but only when you step on it.

Just delete the mufflers, check out more info and sound clips here:

Sounds good. There's no bolt-on muffler delete I could order, is there? I mean, I could just have a 2.5" pipe made up, bent to shape, shrunk and welded onto the stock tips but that may end up being a pain to mess with should I want to return to stock (Trading in or other purpose)

This may be taboo, but has anyone replaced the resonator on these cars with a helmholz, or glasspack? This would kill the drone while providing some extra throatyness to the rev at the same time. Kinda like this.

Those are different and at a car show, that's what you want to get the judges to look at your car.

Great throwback jam too that you play too! Jam on it!

Don't use wax. I only/exclusively use Wolfgang paint sealant. It's simply awesome and more long lasting than your typical Carnauba wax. I apply it once a yr and on my last vehicle it last for over 3 years! It imparts a deep mirror glaze that looks better than the best Carnauba wax money can buy

Thanks! It makes your car look Great!

Default My first post!

Hi folks,

Greetings from the midwest! I recently traded in my 2012 Matador Red LS460 AWD (37000 miles) for this beauty! 2014 LS460L AWD (43000 miles) with ultra luxury package (the kids love it!), Advanced Pre-collision package, LKA, DRCC, the works. I had to drive to NJ to make the deal but it was worth it! I am enjoying the forum and learned a lot already!

Best wishes,
AC

Very nice!

BTW, did you add LED light strip around the inside of front grill? If so, post some night pics.

I used Wolfgang sealant as well, but I also applied a coat of PS21 carnuaba wax on top of the sealant to get the deep black shine (on my previous black cars).

Thanks! The LED was added by the first owner. It is disconnected, and I am debating whether to reconnect or remove all together. My wife wants me to take it off! I don't know whether the mod affects the warranty. I will get it checked out on the next visit to my Lexus dealership.

Yeah, I am also very curious to see what it looks like! Sadly, I am not very adept in this matter, so it will have to wait a bit until I check with my Lexus advisor. The connector is hiding behind the grill and I am not too keen on digging around and figuring out how to power it. I am also worried this may void the warranty.
