Franky I am taking it back to the dealer I bought it from and I am going to hand them the keys over as well, its a CPO vehicle but they should have fixed this problem during the 161 point inspection. I am going to just hand them the keys and go buy me a newer one with less miles on it, I don't want this headache especially after I just bought the car. I will keep you informed on what happens but I am going to keep in touch because I love your video and what you have done to your car.....Looks very nice......

Franky I took my vehicle back to the dealer and because of snowy roads they are keeping it until the next day. According to the tech, they have to duplicate the problem and get authorization from Lexus to reset the code. I am patiently waiting for good news that is. Hey Franky, what size tires do you have on your Lex? It appears to be staggered and I love the way it sits as well. Did you have something done to it to make it sit like that?

I noticed a bit of hesitation on my acceleration. I read up on the LS has a lot slower acceleration than other cars in the same class. I figured it was just in a higher gear. Is it just in D drive or is it the same when you manually lower the gears?

Sounds like ECU issue. There should be a simple reflash that needs to be done and this should be a thing of the past. My car had a shift delay at a light because apparently Lexus designed it to do that initially so save fuel. I complained and it was fixed easily. Your hesitation sounds like its far worse but generally these things are ECU.

I had the same thing. Had a reflash and it cleared it up, only to return at the next oil change. Last oil change I had Toyota dealer do it and it did not return. Some say it may be gas, but I have tried several different brands and cannot duplicat the problem due to gas. I don't know where to take for the next oil change coming up in 2k miles. Probably back to Toyota dealer but they do not report to the service record.

I have had this issue happen now three times, and each time it was after an oil and filter change! Absolutely no clue why this happens (2007 460 SWB), but the battery disconnect works every time.
