As a CPO vehicle it needs to have 50% of the tread left or they will be replaced. I think those LS's have around 8-9/32nds when new, so count on there being at least 4 /32nds left.
I'm considering a CPO LS460. How worn do the tires have to be before the dealer will install a new set on the car? Thanks
After negotiating price I took mine for a final test ride. I was not happy with slight road noise. I insisted on brand new Michelin tires. The next day new Michelin tires were installed. I saw the internal invoice for $1,250 billed to the used car department.

The official Lexus CPO inspection requires a minimum of 5/32 tread depth in order to be labeled CPO. If not, then new tires are installed to bring up to spec.
