I don't know why I have this stains on my leather center console. (properly some of the drinks that I drank) I try all kind of Meguiar leather wipes, but they did not come off. anyone know any kind of solution to remove these stains? [IMG][/IMG]

Use Lexol. It's recommended by my dealer, and their product line should satisfy your particular needs.

yes, try lexol. it shouldn't be that tough to remove

in the worst case, try some very mild soap solution, but make sure conditioning afterwards.

I don't think that part of your console is leather.... I think it's vinyl.

Take a paper towel and dampen an area on it wider than the tip of your finger with Windex glass cleaner, then rub the spots using one finger pressing on damp/slightly wet paper towel, do not spray the cleaner on the spots, just dampen the paper towel, or the end of a Q-tip and then gently rub them clean. Try one spot first to see how pleased you are, then proceed with balance of spots and then lightly surrounding area afterward.

I don't know about Windex; it contains strong detergents and ammonia, and is really meant to be used as a hard surface cleaner... Some versions even contain lemon or vinegar. I wouldn't take that stuff to my soft interior surfaces, but that's just me...

agree, i would be very cautious about windex, it can be pretty strong like bleach. it can take off paint (happened first hand before). even if diluted i would still be very careful

I would try the old faithful Spot Shot (available at Costco, Wal Mart, Target) - it is an excellent stain remover, but test it on the surface in question in a hidden area, and do not apply directly. I have never had it cause discoloration, but your beautiful car does not need to be the exception to this rule. I have used this product to remove oil based paint stain from delicate carpet with no issues. After application wipe it off with a clean, damp microfiber cloth. This will very likely work.

I would never suggest something like Windex if I had not used it myself on leather.

You are right and I did not think to state the original Windex Blue color...LOL
As there are now other additives but they still sell old blue.

I have used it on dark brown leather and cashmere color, but never spray it on the leather, only on the cloth or paper towel, and on matte finish leather. Many ladies use hand lotion all the time and either it greys over time, year plus or minus, or it is a dust/dirt magnet and Windex is great to clean restore the leather, matte leather that is, never tried it on shiny patent leather looking leather..

Try very warm water on terry cloth washcloth if the blue windex did not work. It should be as warm as you can stand it as a person touching it and wet enough but not dripping wet water with light pressure.
