Advice on this white 460L in CA
Can a few others advise on this white 07 460L in California? It just popped up on cargurus. White L is so hard to find, let alone one with exactly the options I want, and in California!

Carfax and Autocheck report zero accidents, 2 owners. Attached is the Lexus drivers service history. All recall campaigns performed. My only concern is the most recent inspection this month shows a burning oil smell and oil dripping onto exhaust. Recommended to reseal timing belt cover. Is this an easy fix or is it really something to be concerned about? Thank you!
EDIT: Hopefully it doesn't have the rear AC/chill box. Awaiting confirmation from seller on this. Also having my mechanic review service history comment.

Personally I think everything looks good base on what I read and the pictures. You could negotiate with the dealer on the oil leak because that is something that need to be taken of and I'm sure it want be cheap to repair. The air suspension I could do without but the ML is a must. A beautiful and clean LS that want last for long.

FatherTo1, you are in for a long wait, sigh...
At this pace, you might as well wait a year and move up to a 2013 where you may have a much wider selection. The cars are not only refreshed in style (assuming you like the spindle grille), but will also have all the infotainment options like BT that you have to buy (Vaistech) for 100s of $ if you bought a 2007-9 car. Plus safety features like BSM and RCTA that are actually very useful in this big car.

Sigh. Yes, you're right, comotiger. It was a moment of weakness for me when this 07 suddenly popped up, right after I had decided to wait it out for a 2010 or better. Will keep looking.

Has about as many miles as my 07L. Sure looks like it has ML system. I thought all non ML systems had no touch screen because thats where the radio sat. All buttons.
Don't see it as rear door sun shades like mine. This don't have air shocks either.
Too bad for the oil leak get it a grand less and use that money to fix leak.
Hope you find one someday.

I couldn't tell from photos whether or not it had ML, but the description only listed "10-speaker" system so I interpreted that as non-ML.

heres one way less miles for only a tiny bit more. Not sure where you are in California but might be worth a trip. Has Mark Levinson too.

If it has ML, it will say so right on the head unit. It will also say "reference system". The ML has 18 speakers, so if it truly only has 10, then it's definitely not ML.

The particular one you linked to has the air suspension and I'm trying to stay away from that feature. We're willing to pay more for a 2010+. I appreciate yours and everyone else's help.

I would advise, also, to wait a while until the 2013+ vehicles come into your price range. The LS430 you drive now is a nice car to have while waiting out the market.
Not sure an L model is worth the wait or extra expense over a SWB version. You really do not need or want AWD unless you are a snow person (and even then an LS460 is not the best snow vehicle). The F sports are an acquired taste and other than the grill (which I like over the standard 2013+) the other trade offs did not fit our target. Our 2014 has the ML audio so that was a plus.

There is a silver 2011 L nearby for $33K. I test drove it a few months ago when it was listed for $34K and it rode very well (my notes from back then mention "driver's seat leather looks worse than our 430"). The 2011 lacks any rear seat options and no semi-aniline leather, no AWD. It is pretty basic and just has ML. We actually sent their Internet Sales Department an offer of $27K today, based on private sale prices, since the car belongs to the daughter of the owner of the Subaru dealership where it is being listed for sale. Almost immediately after sending the offer I felt sick to my stomach because it dawned on me that I don't feel the basic 2011 460L is $10K+ better than our 2006 LS 430. The dealership/seller probably won't accept our offer anyways but will be interesting just hearing their response.
I am grateful for everyone's input, support, and patience with my questions. It has been a roller-coaster ride just searching for the right car. I do want to upgrade to the LS 460L and I thought I finally figured out what was really important to have, and yesterday concluded I only want 2010 or better. But when it comes time to put our money where my mouth is, I'm suddenly more reticent to let go of the LS 430. We can fund our offer, no problem, but today's experience has been a sort of epiphany for me -- instead of the 2011, I will be more happy with a well-maintained 2007 under $20K. The plan is for our LS 430 to go to my Dad, but even then I don't think I want our LS 460L to cost more than a few thousand over our LS 430. When it truly comes down to it, I don't feel a newer model year offers great enough value and I would rather we take the left over money and spend it on some family vacations and memories.

Here's an '08 I saw on facebook yesterday, although it's a rebuilt title. It does look nice, though.
