Air Suspension Replacement
Happy New Year everyone. I have a 2011 LS460 sport package with 72,000 miles. I just dropped it off at the dealership (Lexus of Rockville) to have my rear air suspension replaced. Any time I go over a rough surface it feels extremely bumpy. Fortunately I have a Lexus extended warranty so I don't have to pay the cost, which they quoted around $4,300. Is it common for the air suspension to fail so soon? I bought it a year ago when it had 39,000 miles. Due to my line of work I drive a lot, mostly highway miles on I-495 and 295.

what's the verdict?
So how does she drive with new air suspension on all four corners? I've got a 2010 and replaced the upper control arms up front and it made a significant difference - for a while. I've maybe put 5k on them and it's beginning to clank again so my next step is the air suspension so I'm curious to see how much improved your ride is after the change out. Thanks for any ongoing posts.
