Default Decided on Coilovers vs DataSystems OEM Air,Got a couple ?'s

Ive now put a grand total of 200 miles (as of today) on my "new to me" 460L

Car has air suspension and I thought about doing the DataSystem but went with coilovers since Im used to a more firm ride.

I'll be putting the car on jackstands in the garage (assuming they will b here in a few days) and wanted to know where the compressor/manifold was located in these cars? Would rather remove it, than have it running with nothing to "air up"

or would it be best to pull a fuse,if said fuse doesnt control other things besides the compressor??

If I remember correctly, the compressor is behind the front bumper, in front of the drivers side wheel.

Which coilovers did you decide to go with? I just got a set of BC Racing coilovers to send out and have my Platinum VIP cup kits put on to replace my Megan Racing LP coilovers.

I pulled the fuse located under passenger side foot fuse box area. If I remember correctly it was labeled "air sus".

After that the dash warning went away.

I figured even if you ripped out the compressor/mani it would still warn you on the dash anyways so you'd have to pull.

Was looking for things to try to get a stiffer ride as well... Was even looking into the underbody frame braces but not sure if that's really going to help with factory air suspension..

I was hoping factory air would feel somewhat stiffer than aftermarket air... But nope feels the same so..... Air is air

Might have to follow in your footsteps here, only thing is I have that height high button which I'll need to change to something if I changed to coils...

Please post progress

To keep the lifetime warranty you need to send the coilovers to platinum VIP to install the cups. But stanceparts cups you can install yourself.
