Headlight system error after changing Hid bulbs.
I changed my headlight bulbs yesterday with D4S bulbs with 12K purple. After driving about an hour, the dash popped up a message saying headlight system failure, have dealer check headlight system. Both headlights are still on. Anyone know or had this problem before? I'm wondering why it is doing that? Hate to go back in and change it out again. It was a pita to change the bulbs.

It got me puzzled as well. Same wattage on the aftermarket bulbs as the oem ones. And they are both still working. No reason for it to cause any error. Unless, the car itself doesn't like the color output
