Default Opinions wanted on plastidip for 07 LS 460L

Hey everyone, new member here. Just looking for opinions on whether or not I should plasti dip my silver LS 460L grill and stock rims black. Just looking for a cheap, short term solution at the moment so buying new rims and mods aren't really an option right now.

As of now I'm looking to plasti dip the front grill and leave the lexus emblem for sure. I'm considering doing the rims as well since the stock rims look way too plain. I made a quick photo edit to see how it would look so what do you guys suggest?

(The picture is from somewhere online but it's the exact same as mine)

i like the idea. it's temporary anyway, like the vinyl wrap on my chrome pieces. my only preference is to leave the circle around the "L", chrome...

Just wait till you can afford the mods you want to make to the car. Plastidip is a cheap and ugly thing too do. just my .02.

Agreed, I would drive it like it is. Tint the windows and wait. I'm in a similar boat.

Do the grill leave the wheels alone. The black stockies is cheapening out the look of the car.

If you like it go for it. Personally I'd leave the wheels alone.

I'd leave the wheels a lone too.

Thanks guys, I think I'm going to do the front grill along with the inside part of the lexus emblem on the rear of the car as seen in this thread: http://www.dipyourcar.com/forums/sho...d-exhaust-tips.

I might do the bumper just to see how it looks too

Totally disagree. .when done correctly, plastidip looks amazing. So glad I did my grill..over a year later it still looks perfect and looks oem. Nobody can tell I even used plastidip. They think the car came that way

Agreed. The Plastidip does NOT look cheap. It's also extremely durable.

I agree with others about the wheels. Leave 'em.
