Default Datasystems ASR681 vs ASC680

I was online today about to purchase a datasystem controller when I found out there is another model out there. The ASR681 is wireless. So my question to you guys that already had the other controller, if they offered a wireless one when you purchase yours would you have bought it? Also what other benefits you could think of that would justify $150 more?

i wouldn't get it, i think it's stupid. it's wireless, but the adjustment level is less, meaning you can't lower the car as much overall. setup is also more complicated. and i never see the need of myself standing 20ft away from the car (and i doubt you can be that far away?) adjust the height. keep in mind, you need to start the car first anyway

Hey thanks I was looking at it being easier than the wired model. My biggest worry is the installation. I thought going wireless would help.

when you say easier you mean running wire? first of all you will need to take off the same panels anyway to install the harnesses. the wired version comes with long cable, you can easily route it to glove box, center console, or ashtray, if you want. that's very easy actually. but from what i gather, with the wireless, unit, the setup is harder and more involved. i am not saying it's difficult, but compared to the wired version, there is NO setup required
