water upon opening hood
got a heavy rainstorm, that ended maybe 20:00 EST.
Sunny today, open the hood, and a fair amount of water drops on the intake, and air cleaner, and pools at the clip that holds the air cleaner shut. Seems to have come from the grille/runoff. No biggie.
Interestingly, as the hood stays open, a fair amount of water drops right on the electrical box on the driver's side (I assume fuses and or fusible links are inside). That may or may not be concerning, hopefully it's sealed. This water seemed to have been internal somehow and ran back as the hood is propped up/open.
I guess we could say, don't open your hood after it rains or if you don't garage your car...
