Low Tire Pressure reset (with picture.)
I could not find it, I searched the manual and the net. It's so simple yet was made so over complicated to find. You don't even have to leave the driver seat to reset. Hope this helps others who have tried to find without luck.
Turn key key to on position, wait for Lexus to appear. Then hold in the SET button for 5 seconds.

How does ours work...is it like VW and the wheel speed sensors? I just got 4 snows mounted on rims and there was no option to buy TPMS. That's kinda nice, my other car needed new ones, got them online but still $240 for 4.

I think your photo will help a lot of people - I've seen quite a few threads about the "low tire pressure" warning and people either not knowing about the switch, or not being able to find it. In fact, when I bought my LS430 (private sale), the warning signal was on and the owner said that it was a malfunctioning sensor that wasn't worth the money to replace. I didn't believe him, so after I bought it, I looked it up and the reset button immediately solved the problem.
However, it took me a few minutes to find it - even with the help of the pictures in the manual. OP is correct when he says you don't need to leave the driver's seat to reset it, however, you will need to leave the driver's seat to find it for the first time. OP wasn't kidding when he said it's hard to find. I had to push my driver's seat all the way back, get completely out of the car and sit with my knees on the ground while snaking my head up underneath the steering wheel - that's the only way I could see the switch.
The top button in the pic is for tire pressure reset. The one below that says "key" disables the smart key system. If you try to reset your tire warning and your keys also stop working, it's because you hit the wrong button. The round **** next to the 2 buttons is a volume **** - iirc, it's for the volume of dash interface and alerts.

From what I have read it's determined by the rotation of the wheels.

My 2001 LS430 only has the **** for adjusting the sounds under the dash. Does anyone know whether the low tire pressure feature was added to later models or are the reset controls hiding somewhere? I checked the glove boxes and did not see any buttons. Thanks.
