Value 2005 65,000 Mile 1 onwer.
Everyone on this Forum would love to have the latest lowest mileage LS430 available. This is for sure. Now that time has past..... what would be a fair price paid for a 2005 (popular color) with 65,000 miles and one owner car? I have an older LS430 that runs great I want to replace. I'm never going to over pay. What do you guys think is a fair price for a one owner 2005 original LS430 with the low mileage? considering it is all original and with all service records which is has?

Everyone is right on with the 15-18k range depending on color combo and options package. I paid right around 18-19k for my 2005 black on black with 65k on it 2.5 years ago. They are getting hard to find with under 100k and one owner anymore.

I bought this exact car in January when I traded my 2016 WRX for it. It was at Lexus dealer. One owner, all records. Mine had 62K miles. 18 inch sport wheels, fully loaded except for UL.
Asking price was 17,500. I paid 13,500.
There are 2 local 2006, and 2005 LS (not for sale), one with 19k miles, and one with 7k miles.

Just like every luxury car, the value will continue to drop. Just look at the 01-03 model and first and second gens.
Pay what you think it's worth and drive it to the ground.
I've bought many cars as an "investment," a Lexus LS is not.

Last year I sold my 04 LS with 65k mi, flint mica/black with ML pack, for $16,250. I was the 2nd owner, bought it CPO back around 2010. I did a private sale. Listed the car on Autotrader. It was very clean, I loved the car and babied it best I could. Had full service records like the one you're looking at.

I just bought my 05 LS with the ML package for 19K. it has 48,000 miles and a great service history. I am the third owner.
Did I over pay? Perhaps, but I am pleased as punch...

Depends on what you plan to do with it too. Keep it long or short term.
I just got my second LS430 from the same local dealer.
First one I bought in 2007 was a base model one owner 2005 LS430 with 36k miles and certified warranty for $25.5. After adding 275k miles I replaced it with my current car from the same dealer.
Another base model one owner 2005 LS430 with 67k miles on it and without a mark inside or outside. Prior owner had replaced the timing belt, water pump, tensioners and pulleys per time recommendation instead of mileage. Front and rear pads and rotors had been replaced within the last 5k. All services had been carried out at the same dealership and had just been traded in on a new LS460. I paid $15.5 and feel like I got a decent deal.
I choose the base models, both had park sensors, heated/cooked seats but not nav or ML, because I wanted a simple car.
Hopefully when I add another 250k miles to this car I'll find a similar replacement.
