Default Just installed Hid fog kit - 6000k lightning blue

Hey all, I just installed the 6000k Lightning blue Hid kit for 9006 fog light bulbs. Love the look of these now instead of the ugly yellowish color.

Tell me what you think

Are those factory HID headlights? I'm looking to match the color of all 4 lights.

Me too but I've been told it's not possible to match the high beam halogens to the low beam HID's. I think these fog light bulbs are a great upgrade though.

Yes they are factory HID Headlights... It's hard to see the bluish color from this angle. Any lower of a pic and the sun ruined it. From what I've read on this forum, a lot of people say the 4300k HID kit is farely close to the factory Hid. I've searched a lot of 4300k hid images and to me looked white/yellowish. Maybe it was the pics, so I went with the 6000k kit. No regrets.

Hope this helps

JerZy: Do you mind providing info on the kit you used, where you sourced it, and how much it cost you? Thx in advance, and fogs look great btw! Thinking about copying you if you don't mind! :-)

Looks very nice. It makes your low beam look yellower though since there is a contrast. I was juggling between my light setup and ended on 5k lows and fogs. Couldn't be happier bright and functional. 6k looks cooler though.

Yo Doodoo, can you post a pic or 2 of what your 5000k fogs look with the stock low beams? I was originally going to go the 6000k route but I'm thinking I would be happier with the 5000k fogs to better match my OE low beams.

Thanks in advance DooDooo.

One more thing: does anyone want to comment on how long it takes to install the HID fog light conversion kits for both sides? Am I looking at a quick 1 hr job or is it more of a 1 day job? TIA.
