Default Info on Map Light bulbs

The manual does not state the bulb size for the front map lights, nor do any online catalogs. To save some of you guys the headache of what bulb it is I figured I would help. It is a BA9s type bulb. Hope that helps. I am in the process of swapping all my lights over to LED as I find them very beneficial.

Will you realize a huge difference?

And which bulbs do you exactly mean?

Actually they are not listed. It gives you the dome lamp which is the Festoon type. Can you please point me to where you see the Map bulbs?

It is a huge difference between the factory or incandescent bulb. I already changed the dome light and it is a huge difference. I will take a pic for you to compare.

The exact bulbs I am talking about are the map lights in which you push the button on each side of the dome lamp.

LEDs are a lot brighter than the oem bulbs in there. I did a full LED conversion also using the guide above. beats opening them up individually and trying to figure them out. 16 led boards all around

I'm in the process of switching out the lights on my LS400... and yes, they make a huge difference...

I believe the rear reading lights are the 194 version that simply push in.
