Default Am I getting a good deal

Been lurking a while and searching the forums for information and was just curious of the members view on the deal I am getting.

Vehicle is a 2003 LS430 with CLS pkg, Blk on Blk, with burgundy wood and aniline leather, has the radar cruise not the PCS with laser. and Has 108k on the dash with factory Chromes. Timing belt was done, control arm bushings done, subwoofer recently repaired, up down motor on power tilt wheel done, and mirror switch replaced as well.

I am getting the car for 14.5K and comes out to 15.8K after taxes.

Thoughts?

The vehicle was looked over and worked on by a Lexus tech. The mirror fixes, tilt motor fixes, and the control arm bushings are all being done prior to delivery as well as paint and dent touch up as this vehicle came in from auction.

I was hoping to get a 2004 or later but the broker I am buying through said it would be tough to get a decent one for my under 16K out the door price limit with the CLS. Getting this one with the CLS seemed like a real steal but as I looked around on the web it just seemed like I may not be getting as good of a deal as I thought I was.

Thanks for the feedback!

I think that's a very decent price for that...
garage kept, other maintenance done on time, no accidents, good leather and paint...
If it all checks out...not a bad deal at all...

This is a great deal!
If you are happy with the looks then go for it but if you immediately start spending money on tail lights and other updates to make it look like 04-06 then just wait and get 04-06.

The styling of either is appealing to me. The 04's look a bit newer and the head/tail lights do look more luxurious but I was more interested in the stuff you can't easily add to an 03 like smart key, adaptive headlights, 6 speed auto, and the better integration options for ipod/android phones etc...but I don't see those features being worth the extra 3-5K they would cost.

The PCS option actually changes the cruise control system from DLCC (Dynamic Laser Cruise Control) to DRCC (Dynamic Radar Cruise Control). An easy way to tell is to look at the front of the car head-on.
DLCC will have a "glass eye" in the lower part of the passenger side on the bumper.
DRCC will have a plastic shield around the Lexus logo in the center of the grille.
From the picture, it looks like you do not have DRCC.
Unfortunately, Lexus has added to the confusion by using the term "radar" in the text presented on the dash board for both systems.

Got ya, I knew it wasn't PCS but that detailed explanation really helps me get my terminology correct.

*edit*
Just to be clear that wasn't sarcasm I honestly had the two systems backwards and that helped clear it up.
