Hi everyone my name is Andrew and I'm a new proud owner of a fine sedan. I just ditch the s500, and recieved a 05 ls430 for my birthday a few days ago. I recently own two Lexus before a 95 sc300 and a 99 ls . Me and the olady agree I should get me a new car this week for a nice get away car . I got down to three sedan for a choice of my new luxury cruiser. My pick were a 05 a6 4.2 ,a 05 750li or the 05 tl acura . I went with the lex because of several reason and it wasn't a aover night decision that I have made. One was the ride suits me , I realized that a on a long trip I want to relax and enjoy the ride as much as possible . The other thing was it had to be reliable and believe me it goes a long way when my Benz was dead on the freeway I will always remember this. My other concern was hi tech gadget , and it won't be a luxury car if it didn't have these feature. After three month of thinking I picked the ls430 . My friend has a gs430 and said drive the Lexus last believe me ,it will only be fair . I drove the other cars and then the Lexus ,now I realized what he meant by that . I would of bought the Lexus if it was the first car that I driven. I can't drive the Lexus everyday because I would of just fall asleep ,the ride is like floating down the street on a coach . Coming from a Benz I know how every car lacks a perfection . The lex is not as bad as people think ,the looks is really original and professional. I don't care what people think but the Lexus is my favorite car of choice . I have own a ls400 99 and yes the painting coming back in my head of how a luxury car should ride and feel. I would drive this car for as long as I can. Got to give it up to Lexus for making a fine salon like the ls, BTW I chose all the 05 because it would be a fair comparison if one is newer .

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the forum. We, also, own a 2005 LS430 ML and quite pleased with it. Purchased about 3 years ago. If you haven't already, go to MyLexus, register and check the service history on your "new" LS.
