Default Sunroof Still Leaking

I cleaned the drains, I cleaned the rubber molding, I dropped the headliner and checked everything and this thing still leaks only and only in the passenger front. My headliner is always wet Next step is to keep the headliner out while it rains and watch that sucker leak. Any body have any other ideas or know if there was a recall or TSB for this issue? It's driving me crazy!

Thanks for any help in advance.

Maybe lubricate the rubber moldings?

I'll give it a shot. I'm willing to try anything at this point.

I've been wary of sunroofs ever since working at a fancy car wash in Chicago in the early '90s. It seemed that all the best-known luxury vehicles dripped water on my right shoulder as I drove the car to finish drying it after it emerged from the wash.

Thankfully, my 2003 LS hasn't (yet?) had that issue, but perhaps b/c we seldom use the sunroof...? Just in case that is true, I'm planning to use it rarely going forward too!

if you lube use clear dielectric grease which repels water.

Thanks, will do. I found some post online about plastic track covers for the LS400's I wonder if this is a similar issue. I'm about ready to seal the thing up if this grease doesn't help.

Windshield replace recently? Don't wait till it rain, one person inside while another outside using garden hose to dose the car constantly. Keep us posted.
