Blacked out tail lamps?
Hey guys im new to the forum i was wondering if anyone has blacked out tail lamps for their LS430. I've been thinking about getting them blacked out but i'm not sure if it looks good or not. Let me know!

You might be able to get actual tints for the taillights, preserve the OEM look. Someone on here posted a blacked out 430.

i don't think they look good unless you are in high school, but that is just my opinion. luxury cars I like stock, I also think you will find that you get more in trade someday.

blacked out-doesn't look good imo, and it's hard to see when someone is braking or using their turn signals (if that). One guy got mad when I didn't let him over because I couldn't see his turn signals. I wasn't blocking him, it was so damn dark and I couldn't even tell

This is was I did.
Bought a roll of tint off ebay for under $15-20.
Made a paper template of just my turnsignals/reverse lamps.
Transferred that over to the roll of tint and applied two layers.
IMO, looks way better than full blacked out tail. Also gave it a nice oem look as well. Kinda bad pics, but you get the point:
