Vibration when hitting a bump?
For the past few days I have been noticing a slight rattle and vibration in the steering column when I hit bumps. I am really not a car junky or have any car knowledge, but it seems like the whole column might be a little loose. Just wondering is it a common problem or something going wrong with my 02 LS430? Can anyone point me in the right direction and help me to fix it?
Thanks in advance.

Have a good import shop or Lexus dealer look at the front suspension. It sounds like a bad shock absorber or bushing. Given the age of your car, it could be either one - or something else.

Have the same problem along with a few others. Seems there was a TSB about it for our cars. I was quoted roughly $300 for the repair at my local stealer.
