A 9 inch Ford rearend ought to bolt right on there. j/k I have no idea. I've heard that some folks prefer NOT to have traditional mechanical posi units on icy roads as they can upset vehicle balance as they engage / disengage.

I believe Qualife (sp?) is a reputable brand. They put in high quality LSDs on BMWs anyways. I hear it runs about $3-4k so it definitely isn't cheap. However, I think that if you change out the suspension (more performance oriented), disabled VSC, and bolted on an LSD it would be a hell of a fun car at all times. I really would like an LSD bolted on mine too (all cars with a good amount of power should have these standard IMO), but $$ and lack of aftermarket performance parts stops me.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but i've been looking into a LSD for the LS430's. from this thread (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...lsd-mod-3.html) it seems we can use non-6spd supra/2GS/1-2SC diffs to swap into our current pumpkins is this correct?
Any one have a rough for the cost of parts? A quick search on google for the supra lsd's leads me to believe ~1,200, i assume searching wrecking yards will lead to some savings, but will it be enough to search for one?
