Need Wiring Diagram from Radio Harness
For those who have an electrical service manual, ie. wiring diagram:
I am looking to find out what color, on the radio/audio harness, is the steering wheel controls wire both for the MODE switch and VOLUME switches. For reference, my model is an 02 non-navigation.
Any help is much appreciated.

The 2-page diagram for the 02 LS430 audio system I just looked at does not show the wire colors of the mode and volume switches and does not show the switches at all. I'm guessing you would need the full electrical diagram manual to find the wire colors ... or why don't you just pop off the switch and take a look?
By the way, the steering wheel switches are programmable and have different functions depending on whether the car has a dealer installed Lexus phone system. It's just a guess but I suspect the cable from the switches goes to a separate ECU which in turn connects to the audio and phone systems.

Im trying to decode the harness from the radio. Specifically, Im trying to figure out what each pin on the harness main function is, ie. amp remote, speaker wires, and such. On top of that, from the harness, Im only guessing that there would be a pin location and corresponding wire that sends signals to the steering wheel control. I could look at the back of the actual switches, but Im not sure it will translate to the same color going into the harness of the radio. Kansas, in your manual, does it breakdown what each pin, on the harness, does?

Radio issues
So I am having issues with my stereo, discovered that the constant 12v is not there, so for experimental purposes i jumpered from another constant 12v source and everything started working, amp and all. I checked all fuses with a test light all are good everywhere I checked every fuse in the car. How do I get my constant 12v back to that wire?
FYI this site has been a life saver for trouble shooting stereo issue.
great job to all who runs and uses this site.
thanks
