Default where is tire pressure monitor reset for 20006 ls430

I have just bought a one owner certified-preowned 2006 silver LS 430. It is lovely and I am trying to learn where everything is located. The owners manual is either wrong or I am looking in the wrong place as I cannot for the life of me locate the Tire pressure monitor reset button. I have looked everywhere in the drivers side of the car, including under the steering wheel but I see nothing--or I am looking for the wrong thing. Is there one in the 2006? Can someone help?

Welcome to the Club vic1!

Several things. Use the SEARCH, then ADVANCED SEARCH, then select your words you want to search for, then select LS430 forum, and you will be amazed at how many answers/replies there are to your question!

Secondly, the rule on the forum is that you are not allowed to receive answers unless you post PICS of the car.

Third, and lastly, I'm giving you a freebie..lol This should help you out. (make sure you follow the instructions and you press the correct switch located above your R. knee as you're sitting in the drivers seat. (You may have to lay on your back and look upwards under the dash)

Let us know how you make out, as we patiently await some picturesssss.

Thanks for posting this topic. Had to reset mine after my right front tire lost a bit of pressure.
I am new to this forum. I purchased a one owner 2006 pearl white LS430 last year with 55000 miles on it. Great car.

The reset button is there - actually closer to right ankle than to right knee when you are sitting in the driver seat. The button is so far down on the dash that no one sees it the first time they go looking for it - mostly because they cannot imagine why a car designer/manufacturer would put a switch/button that low.

The button is located under the right knee area . There's actually 2 button and a **** . Its not the one straight across from the **** , its the other one by itself . First reset it to clear the low tire warning message by pressing the button mention above for few second while turning the key to the on position . Then repeat the procedure until tire initializing message appear . Then drive for around for more than 15 miles at speed below 62 mph. If there's no real fault then it will keep the message off .
