how much would LED TAILLIGHTS COST ME?

LED lights
As reference, even if it did work, the outers are about $260 and inners $230 full retail, so that's almost $1K just for lights. Even if they did fit, you'd have to rig it up so the "light out" indicator doesn't trigger in the car by adding resistors to the lights.
Maybe someone else has done it here and can vouch that it'll work with OEM lights.

you can go with just changing the outer tails attached to quarter (halogen) or you can spend about 300 bucks and change for a complete LED swap.
here's a pic of my 01 with the LED's, I've had it for almost 6 months with zero problems.

Replacement ones should never be an issue now anymore. The newer generation replacement LEDs all have the proper resistors built in, so no "light" triggering.

yup no warning light issues. new LED's have 4 external resistors total.
actually the set has a total of 8, you don't see 4 of them because they are inside the housing. The 4 external ones were not set inside because the housing is too small .

I think you went with replace LED taillights right? Those don't look OEM Lexus. Unless I'm mistaken, I think "HELLA VIP" wants the OEM and not the E-bay replacement ones. Even if the outers will fit, will just wiring them to the current lines be good enough?
