Taillamp Failure notice
i recently got this notice on my dash...replaced the burt bulbs. ALL taillights are working now but the failure notice is still there?
how do i turn this off?

i had the same with my 2001 LS430, you probably used a generic kind of bulbs or a wrong type, they might fit there, and work fine, but sometimes they dont draw enough juice to trigger the dash light off,,,,,,, change the one you just replaced,,,,,!!!

yes this is correct,had the same issue with my 2002,bought lamp form local parts supplier,same problem,purchased one from toyota,fixed,don't ask me why,but it worked.

im also getting the taillamp failure light but its very wierd...
it only comes on when my headlights are on,

ok heres the video, not sure if when i press the brake all the lights should go on but only the bottom ones go on and when the parking lights go on the bottom right driver side lamp doesnt light unless i press the brake...
watch the video it helps

Edit - sorry I'm slow you already knew this. I'd start with the easy stuff - the bulb. If you don't want to buy one, swap it with the other side to see if that's the problem.
