Default Where to place the jack for wheel change?

Where to place the jack for wheel change? I don't want to break anything by placing the jack at the wrong places. Thanks.

Pictures will be good. Thanks again.

its in the manual and under the side skirt u should see two little ridges on each end, ur suppose to put the jack between those two points.

Just something I really want to know while I was trap at work. I figure some nice member on the forum maybe able to help me out without insult. By the way, I did look at the manual and the jacking points is not clear at all unlike my BMWs.

I guess I'm too chicken to try since the under body looks so nice and fragile.

Don't be chicken. I have done it and it does not harm the underbody at all. Just use the spots that are indicated in the manual. Yes, it is not too clear in the manual but you will see the ridges when you look under the car.

A better question is which location should I use when using the floor jack so that I can place the jack stands on all four locations indicate in the manual.

"put a piece of wood on top and jack the car just behind the ridge."

That may not be safe. If the wood splits and the jack slips then the car may come down on you.

I know that. Where are the other points to use the floor jack to jack up the car to place the jack stand at the four jack points?

for a temporary place, u can put a piece of wood holding up the rear diff and placing jack stands near the ridges or a piece of wood on the oil pan and jack stands on the front ridges.

Thanks that where I place the floor jack on my other cars but it is very dangerous when jack the car up very high to place the jack stands especially when you can't drop the floor jack slowly so the car does not drop too quickly.
