Default Fumoto or EZoil drain valve

Anyone using these? any issues with using them on a 98 LS400. Only real complaint ive seen about them is that the oil drains a bit slower.

thanks

I have them on all my car Fumito, love them, they do drain a little slower but it's okay, go grab a beer come back done. I go with the Fumoto been on car for past 6 years, no issue

Its probably something that a lower rider would not want to use.

thanks for the reply. Do you recall which one you are using? I am considering the F103N M12-1.25 DRAIN VALVE W/NIPPLE

I guess my only concern is any clearance issues. My car has stock suspension with stock wheels/tires

stock height you should not have issues though I would not get the N-series (valves with nipple) just for the added clearance and peace of mind.

Did you end up in buying any of these. I am afraid that I might hit something and that might break my oil sump because of the nipple. Wondering which one to choose. I dont mind it taking a while to drain but wondering anything that's safe even with pebbles hitting on them.

no i did not end up getting one of these. mainly for the same concerns that you have. Also im no longer doing my own oil changes due to back issues.

Good luck

I considered a drain valve as well, but having to remove the 15-16 other fasteners just to get to the drain plug and filter (engine under cover), a valve just didn't seem to add any convenience to the task. Although it does remove the risk of cross threading, over tightening, etc.

Just looking at the location of the drain plug, I don't think a valve is in any danger of getting whacked. Not to say it can't happen.
