1995 Ls400 fuel switch location
Hello,
I was on the interstate and had to push the breaks hard to avoid a car and my car shut-off and wouldn't start back up. I had it towed home and it sat for about a week before i tried to start it again. It started but died. It will run if i put gas in the intake. I don't hear the fuel pump cutting on so I'm thinking its the fuel shut-off switch. Ive done some searching on-line and on his forum and i cant seem to find any info on its location. Thank you for reading.

There isn't any fuel shut-off manual switch in any LS400 but there is a relay called the circuit opening relay which disables the +B supply to the fuel pump.

Unable to Start
If you are not getting a spark or fuel, most likely it will be your black fuse in the fuse box that is siting next to your battery. Try removing the black rely and putting it back in. Most likely that will get your car stated again. Let me know how that works.

Lexus LS400 1996 starts and immediately dies
Hello, I have an exactly the same problem.
I was driving gave it full throttle and had to stop and the car shut off. It cranks, it starts and then immediately dies. If you spray starting fluid into intake it works. So i thought it is fuel pump replaced it and pump relay. No result. I checked fuel pressure in ramp it is in range. It just shuts electricity to injectors
How did you solve yours?
Would be very thankful, because car is not running for 4 month

The fuel pump relay is only controlling the fuel pump resistor. It is not much related to the no start problem, I must add.
