Post Blower motor question

So my 91 Ls400 has heat but the blower motor turns on and off when it wants and when it's on sounds like a brick in a washing machine. I haven't had time to dig into the issue yet. I'm just looking for some advice on the topic

So likely the bearings in the motor are gone or the fan is loose on the shaft. I'm not real sure but I think that simply means you have to remove the dash to get to it all. Just look at some of the dash remove stuff on Youtube, it looks like the most difficult service there is to do on these or any car.

Isn't the blower motor behind the glove box? I thought you can get to it from underneath. I could be wrong though.

Not sure, on an ls. On a Subaru it is and is easy.
