Default Would the wheels fit my 1998 LS400 Celsior

I saw a very nice set of Work Varianza in my local classifieds.
The size of the tire in the front is 245/30/20 on a 20x9 rim
The size of the tire in the rear is 285/25/20 on a 20x10 rim
Would they be too wide to fit? or will i need to trim the fender?
The seller doesn't know the offset so that's disappointing.

I'm lowered on coilovers already

Well you can't really know without the offset unless you try them on. Plus you need to know if they are high, low, etc... to know if they will clear the brake calipers. Why don't you go and do a test fit?

Makes me suspicious if they are stolen because owners of these wheels will have a fitment/car in mind. The absence of that makes me Call them back and ask what car they were/are on. If they can't answer that, stay away. You'll probably get some story that they were a friend's wheels that they are selling for them. If you want to play ask what car he/she has.

He lives 3 hours away from me, but I think I'll still go for a test for since I wanted to take a road trip anyways lol. He said that the wheels were on his gs300 and he didn't need to roll the fenders.

Well which year is his GS? I still believe the front calipers are smaller than the LS calipers so that is probably an issue. Like I said the offset will play a big factor in whether fender mods are needed.
