All weather floor mat recommendations?
I am in need of a set of rubber floor mats for my 98 LS 400. I've searched around and it seems no one makes a direct fit floor mat. Has anyone found a set that fit pretty good? I am considering trying , but looking for any input.

If your current mats are decent, put in ExactMats or go to the local office supply and get one of those carpet protectors and cut it yourself. These are fine for the usual encounters with rain or freshly cut grass that sticks to your shoes and is easily wiped off. Keeps the interior more sedate than the heavy duty all weather types.
If you prefer the WeatherTech style, they do the job well. When they get dirty, you pull the whole mat to hose them off. . I didn't like the grooves that "trap water and dirt" which is their selling point. Worked well in my buddy's truck when we went skiing, beach and walking through dirt-muddy fields.

They are not cheap but they are good and will fit your car well...

Do you have a set of these? If so, how is the fit? Just wondering because when I called WT they said this set is not an "exact fit" but a "close fit". Cheers.

No... I don't have a set for my Lexus... but did purchase a set for my Jeep (when I had it) and they fit and worked great. They are a well known brand....
For cheaper solution you can get a large set of rubberized floor mats from Walmart... the good ones, and slice the accel pedal out on one side. I've found those fit and work pretty well for the price.
