New kid on the block: My '96 LS400
I am a totally new member to the Club Lexus Forums and I thought I would post a couple pictures of my LS400 and some background information on it for all those who it may interest.
I bought my 1996 Lexus LS400 in my junior year of high school and have loved it ever since. I know everyone is partial to their first car, but I believe I truly lucked out by getting a LS. Now about to graduate high school, I have put about 30,000 miles on the car and it still runs like new (167k on the clock). I live in Virginia and it has been my 4 season daily driver for school, sports, etc. It has even handled winter surprisingly well for a RWD car. The car is in the factory "Deep Jewel Green" paint with the Ivory interior. The exterior has remained in good condition for a 20 year old car. My only gripe is the condition of the leather seats which are going downhill. I know this is a documented problem with the LS400's so I'll probably get some nice seat covers in the future. All in all, no big deal.
Modifications: I have kept my car "fairly stock" but I can tell the modification bug has already gotten me... So far, clear marker lights and some chrome LS430 rims are the only additions.
This was taken shortly after I purchased it in all its stock glory.
Here is a more recent picture with it sporting the LS430 rims.

That's a good question Mike lol. Glad to have found this site. As far as other upgrades, my next goal would be to install a better exhaust system. Something that would give the LS a little sound and maybe some extra power. I am going to have to read up on some of these exhaust threads and do some homework first though.
