once again - new exhaust setup!
This is the 4th or 5th time I've modified my exhaust jeez.
I can't afford and won't save to spend the money on new mufflers so I took the least expensive way and took them off!
I booted the glasspack and replaced it with 2.25" piping. This connects back to the custom fabricated Y pipe that slpits off to the rear mufflers.
I wanted to have the gaskets replaced in the rear mufflers because I swear there's a leak somewere or something it making a ticking noise and besides that the rear flanges were spitting water when the engine revved. So instead of replacing gaskets I asked them to fire up the car and it was similar to the glasspack but not so muscle-car-ish.
So I've got two blank spots on my bumper and a good sound that doesn't make that CRAZY whistle noise anymore.
One quick g-tech during the day got me a 8.67. Do testing tonight ;-) Still have the ticking noise which I think may be comign from the engine now.
